Beach wood is a hard wood that does not splinters, which is specially important against children biting. A playpen is intended to retain a child whilst allowing it space to play. Most parents favour a wooden playpen over a travel cot, because a child can learn to walk much faster in a playpen by using the dowels to hold on to while walking around step by step. The Rondo legs are made from one solid piece of wood. This is important not to have a breaking line when painted (if legs are glued together from several pieces this will happen). The bottom is adjustable in two heights. This round playpen has two solid wooden bars (lower & upper). No screws are visible. The removable bottom is being supported by six solid wooden bearers. The bottom should be positioned in the lowest position as soon as the child is able to stand. The wheels (with brake) are included and have a rubber safety layer to prevent them scratching the floor. It is quite a large playpen and offers lots of space for the child to play. Inside dimension between the dowels is 95 cm. The height from floor till top is 85 cm. A round playpen mattress is included.
